Susanne Pendleton and Dave Taylor from Corporate Business Council of Fairfield Harbour (CBCFH) visited All About Craven today to publicize the CBCFH Health and Wellness Fair slotted for Nov. 3 from 11am-3pm at the Fairfield Harbour Community Center.
There will be 27 different booths displaying a wide variety of information about services offered in our area to promote health and wellness for the mind, body, and spirit. Many of the booths will offer Door Prizes and interactive opportunities such as blood pressure checks, vision checks, and other physical measurements for residents. Featured business offer professional services from hearing care, eye care, fitness and exercise, nutrition, massage, acupuncture, an accessible travel advocate, financial and legal advisors, physical therapy, pharmacy services, medical supply, home air filtration systems, assisted living, and more.
Four brief special presentations will take place in a separate room in the community center featuring:
1. Long Term Care Planning at 11:30 a.m.
2. Nutrition at 12:15 p.m.
3. Exercise & Fitness at 1:00 p.m.
4. Long Term Care Planning at 1:45 p.m.
Six non-profit organizations will be represented that offer health awareness and assistance for residents.
