Fairfield Harbour Food & Spirits wins top award at Taste of Coastal Carolina

The annual event Taste of Coastal Carolina was held at the New Bern River Front Convention Center on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. This event raises funds for the Neuse Riverkeeper Foundation. Fairfield Harbour Food & Spirits was one of 31 of the best restaurants served samples of their cuisine to the sold out crowd of 650 hungry attendees. Only the attendees voted; there were no special judges nor could the restaurant employees vote. When the votes were tabulated, Fairfield Harbour Food & Spirits won the coveted Silver Pepper Mill trophy as the Overall Best Restaurant. They also won First Place as the New Taste Participant among about 15 restaurants in that category and Second Place in the Best Overall Presentation category. The energetic Food and Spirits team fed attendees with friendly attitudes and efficiency. Each attendee received with a plate packed of some of their best Greek dishes, from a lemon chicken soup, spanakopita (spinach pie), pork and chicken kabobs, tzatiki sauce & chips, a tomato, olive, cucumber and feta salad. Congratulations to Fairfield Harbour Food and Spirits!
